The conference embraces all research into guided wave optics for instrumentation, sensing and imaging, and its applications in physical, chemical and biological measurement. The scope extends from relevant theory and fundamental science to engineering realization. Example fields of application include:
- Fundamental metrology and research;
- Medicine and the life sciences;
- Environmental monitoring and earth observation;
- Defense, security and public safety;
- Structural engineering and civil infrastructure;
- Aerospace;
- Oil, gas and mining;
- Renewable energy;
- Industry: metrology, process monitoring and machine vision.
Post deadline Papers will be selected on Monday 16th May and presented on Thursday 19th May.
